Research Interests

Dr. Kim is a trained data scientist with expertise in risk management in sport. His research focuses on promoting safety culture in sports and recreational activities through data science-driven prediction modeling. The overarching goal of his work is to support sport organizations in enhancing risk management practices and raising safety awareness among participants.
