Professional Background
Jennifer Demby is a Co-Founder and Director of Sports of Blind Athletes Inc., a non-profit NJ Paralympic Sports Club for blind and visually impaired athletes and a 501© (3) public charity. She is a Certified Level 1 Coach with USA Track and Field, Certified in SafeSport, Paralympic Athletics and Swimming. Also currently working as a Part Time Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University for the Movement Experience for Individuals with Disabilities classes and a Fitness Instructional Aide at the Joseph Kohn Rehabilitation Center for the blind and vision impaired in NJ. She is a ’96 US Olympian and ’95 Pan-Am gold medalist as a goalkeeper for the US National Handball Team. Prior to the Olympics, she was an accomplished basketball player in high school and college setting many records. She graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, of which she attended as a four-year scholarship winner.
