Professional Background
Chris D'Andrea is entering his thirteenth year as an athletic trainer at Rutgers University, providing medical coverage for the men’s soccer and men’s lacrosse teams.
Prior to working at Rutgers University, Chris was an assistant athletic trainer at Baldwin-Wallace College in conjunction with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Chris also was an athletic trainer at Midview High School as part of the Cleveland Clinic's outreach sports medicine program. He has also worked as a seasonal intern with the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Chris is a 1994 graduate of the University of Cincinnati and received his masters in Health Education from Ashland University in 2000. He is an NATA certified athletic trainer since 1995, is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, is certified in Functional Movement Screening, and is a member of the Big Ten/CIC Ivy League Traumatic Brain Injury Research Collaboration.
