Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Sport Management

The Department of Kinesiology and Health at Rutgers University invites applications for a non-tenure track (NTT) faculty position at the Teaching Instructor rank beginning Fall 2020. This is an academic year appointment, and it is a long-term, career-oriented position with the possibility of reappointment and promotion through the university’s teaching faculty track.

Course load will include, but not limited to Facility Management, Operations, Event Management, Sport Management, and/or other courses as determined by the Department Chair. Administrative duties and service at the university will be expected according to the University requirements and the needs of the Department, as determined by the Department Chair.

YSRC Clerical Assistant

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Part-Time Clerical Assistant for the Youth Sports Research Council, within the Department of Kinesiology and Health. This position will assist with the operation and organization of the Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council’s SAFETY Clinic.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
•Assists with the operation and organization of the Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council’s SAFETY Clinic.
•Provides a wide variety of administrative and support services to customers of the Youth Sports Research Council.
•Maintains and enters data into CommunityPass database for coaches and clinicians that attend Clinicians Workshops and SAFETY Clinics.
•Assists with the Program Coordinator on Workshop and Clinic preparation, packing and shipping materials and preparing UPS shipping label.
•Collects and records payments from vendors, coaches and partners, and assist with maintaining up to date financial records.
•Grades Clinicians Workshop Exams, enters clinicians in master database and supply clinicians with materials to teach Rutgers SAFETY Clinic, and record payments for Master Clinicians.
•Develops, updates and maintains the Youth Sports Research Council website.

  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•General word, power point, excel processing skills, Skype/Facetime/Video familiarity, Valid Driver's license

 

Position Salary:
$18.50/hour
