When a 10-year-old girl in San Diego started a campaign to support addiction research, she had no idea the path would lead her to a lab a continent away in New Jersey in the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences. In July, Anika Gamburg visited the the Cardiac Neuroscience Laboratory in the Department of Kinesiology and Health to learn about their addiction prevention research first hand.
