Academic Advising Philosophy
Academic Advising in the Department of Kinesiology and Health at Rutgers University involves more than simply planning a schedule for each term.  It offers the opportunity for students interested in the Exercise Science or Sport Management majors to identify their personal and academic strengths and empower them to identify, optimize and strive for excellence.  Although students are personally responsible for planning their academic program to meet all graduation requirements, our advising office helps students make effective academic choices compatible with their life goals.
