Academic Advising Philosophy
Academic Advising in the Department of Kinesiology and Health at Rutgers University involves more than simply planning a schedule for each term. It offers the opportunity for students interested in the Exercise Science or Sport Management majors to identify their personal and academic strengths, and empower them to identify, optimize and strive for excellence. Although students are personally responsible for planning their academic program to meet all graduation requirements, our advising office helps students make effective academic choices compatible with their life goals.
Office Hours and Making an Appointment
Take advantage of our walk in hours during the academic year. This is a time to access advising resources for both the Exercise Science and Sport Management majors. Please note that walk-in hours do change each week. Be sure to check this page for updates.
- Faculty Office Hours
The department faculty are available to meet with students to discuss topics and questions regarding specific areas of study. View a list of faculty office hours for days and times each faculty member is available.
