InternshipsInternships

All students majoring in the Exercise Science or Sport Management must complete an internship during their senior year. Internships are designed as an apprentice-like experience during which students have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills developed in the classroom in various professional settings.

ResearchIndependent Study - Research Experience

Engaging actively in independent research serves an advantage in developing research skills and preparing students for the rigors of graduate school. It is a great opportunity to develop competencies as a scientist and benefit from the strong mentorship of a department faculty member. Students may conduct research for credit through an Independent Study.
