The disability studies minor examines the meaning, nature, and consequences of disability, as a social, cultural, and political construct. It provides students the opportunity to challenge normative ablest paradigms that reinforce rigid ideas about the body and personhood for people with disabilities.
Requirements
Students seeking the Disability Studies Minor must complete three core courses and three electives from the approved list.
